Only One Genital Wart Paper 21/60 Sweet Campana-Nisa Arce

21. Twelve Strokes
Author: Nisa Arce

Summary:
Nisa's second novel takes place Arce in urban locations in Madrid and Las Palmas Gran Canaria. Characters who once shared the college life in the capital of Spain meet again one night Anoy Weekend recover a friendship and love story that the time had drifted apart.
An analysis of the young society acompaƱaa the plot of this novel, which deals with aspects of contemporary life drom the perspective of a homosexual relationship between two students whose paths intersect through an ad on the board of the Faculty in which they study.

My opinion (spoilers)

History:
The story is told in third person, from the perspective of Doramas, one of the protagonists.

Doramas It starts when escaping from a social gathering and lose your job you should take flight to the Canary Islands to spend the New Year. The disappointment at being left alone at that time led him to recall how he spent that time as a student and listen to a CD storesdo for five years, returns to a happier time when he lived with Jaime.

Nostalgia drives him to go out and return to an area of the city not visited since he finished college. Back on the path long ago, to get to the Faculty, where he has a totally unexpected find: Jaime is there, perhaps led by the same memories.

The excitement of the encounter brings them to go the route of students while they catch up with their lives. Dorama is stable employee newspaper Primera Plana for whom he worked as an intern while studying, and Jamie is notseem to like the news. It is inevitable ending Doramas apartment, recalling the old days of a more intimate way.

In the second part of the story, the author takes us to the beginning of this love story when Doramas, newly arrived from the Canary Islands, places an ad to exchange courses in the Faculty board and well known Jamie, who comes from Asturias. The friendship leads to love and begins a relationship that ends abruptly on the same day you receive the degree.

The third part of the story focuses again on this: Doramas and James have matured, both work and are financially independent. JaiI've got what you wanted, works as a freelance publicist and does well. Spend time in Spain before going to London for the next job.

Doramas Jaime offers to spend a few days at home until you return to London, just as Primera Plana planning a downsizing. Being together these days, as friends with benefits, makes Doramas rethink things.

The last part of the book takes place in the Gran Canaria, where the author, through an entertaining story, shows us the delights of their island.

The end of the book cierra circle impeccably. I ended up with a satisfied smile and some penalty because he had finished, but I know I'll remember and reread with the same taste later.

Reading dynamic, realistic dialogue and the prose elegant without being cloying give a good pace to the story.

The title of the play "Twelve Strokes" defines a certain symbolism, and connects fine start to the end, giving the idea of a cycle that begins and ends.

Characters:
Doramas Betancor : natural journalist Gran Canaria, who works at Madstay with us we have to fight to get it, is a bond forged out of nothing. " And one of my favorites that look good:

"You can never be satisfied. The day that you've missed the first handful of dirt on your grave. "

Luis and Livia: they are the friends of the couple. They were sweethearts in college and have followed each other all the time. Now they have a daughter who is a top priority. They, and especially Livia, give the story a touch of freshness to the study, weekend outings, the sincere friendship began to flourish in college and lifelonglife.

theme
The novel speaks of freedom: first, as conceived by the university students who see it as a goal to finish the race to "be free" and then, with the passage of years, how that concept is modified based on priorities.

At that moment, while savoring the bitterness of the loss, he knew that this was, indeed, the price to pay to be free. Adulthood, responsibilities, disappointments ...
Solitude.

also speaks of happiness as defined brilliantly by James near the end of the story:

It's Saturday morning and yes, today we are in college. Classes or PC, the reason we are here (or rather by which we will) has changed: we meet to go to market Huamantanga, located in the district of Puente Piedra, away for all of us.

After asking for referrals, we were told we should go to the bridge spring and then take the "Chinese" public transport bus that the distance of your route, must be classified as busat the time a potential customer (us) is about (proxemics) and fixed his eyes on the product (kinesis). A more proactive approach is what we observe in the hawkers and the "jaladoras" of the food stalls.

's almost three in the afternoon, so the jaladoras still in the critical range of time to attract more customers. Not yet spent by his side, but we see that each does not lose the opportunity to attract one or more clients simultaneously (interpersonal communication), all under the spotlightgives people who serve or prepare food. Now that we have on the side, we deal with her "friend have warm stew freshly prepared" or "is going friend, there is rice with chicken and potato to the huancaĆna entry." This process is one of the most dynamic, so we will analyze below
